Artist’s Statement
My art yearns for the romantic and baroque; a world where our view of nature is enriched with a sense of something sacred within.
Using techniques from past centuries, I wish to ask a question of faith of the contemporary world. Can we find something sacred in a secular world or are the insatiable engines of industrial development and financial growth the only worthwhile measures left?
