Andrew Mezei is based in Melbourne. His parents were Hungarian refugees and artisans. Andrew’s practise employs techniques from the Dutch Baroque period to create luminous paintings. He grinds his own colours and uses fine detail to reflect our connectedness to the world; a metaphysical model of consciousness.
